Charging Your Camera
•
To charge your OPS or OPS HD camera, open the rubber cap over the USB and memory card slots. Then plug the small end of
the USB cable into the back of the camera and the large end into your computer's USB slot.
•
We do not recommend that you use a
third-party
USB adaptor connected to a normal wall socket. This may cause unforseen
problems.
•
When charging your camera, the LED on the top will show blue. When the battery is fully charged, this LED will turn off. Your
camera may come fully charged from Tachyon, so don't be surprised if, the first time you try to charge it, the blue light does not
come on.
•
For charging away from your computer, we highly recommend these two Tachyon chargers (below). These are sure to cause no
unforseen problems.
Charge n' Record 12V Charger
110-240V Charge n' Record Charger
•
Other great ways to charge your OPS
(But not OPS HD)
camera, even when away from a fixed power source, is to use
Tachyon's Battery-Powered Charger (Below). It's small and light - perfect for taking into the field with your cameras. It may also be
used to charge your other USB-based electronic devices.
•
We suggest that you only use
Energizer Ultimate Lithium
batteries in this unit.
