Google Now and Search
You can search for information on the web or on your phone using Google Search,
get information when you need with Google Now without searching, or perform certain
tasks by speaking.
Enabling Google Now
Google Now gets you just the right information at just the right time. It tells you today’
s weather before you start your day, how much traffic to expect before you leave for
work, and more. You can turn Google Now on or off from within the Google app.
The first time you open the Google app, see a brief explanation of how Google Now
works and touch Next . When you see Yes , I’m in , choose it to begin.
. Touch the Home Key > > Google .
. Touch the Menu Key > Settings .
3. Slide the ON/OFF switch next to Google Now .
Searching With Text
You can search for information by entering text.
. Touch
in the Home Screen and select Google .
. Enter the terms you want to search for in the search box and touch the search
key on the keyboard, or touch a search suggestion that appears below the search
box.
