9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.

10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.

11. Do not use appliance other than for intended in these instructions.

12. Check that the electrical installation is compatible with the wattage and voltage stated on the bottom of

the appliance.

13. If this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other), it is to reduce the risk of electric

shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the

outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the

plug in any way.

14. To disconnect, switch off, then remove plug from wall outlet.

15. The temperature of accessible surfaces may be hot when the appliance is operating.

16. The appliance is only to be operated in the closed position with measuring cup and cover in correct position.
