Insert the document into the automatic docu-
ment feed with the printed side downwards.

Enter the number of the remote fax: either ma-
nually using the numeric keypad or via one
touch speed dial, coded speed dial or group di-
al.

Press the
Start
button or wait a few seconds until the T-Fax 8500 automatically
starts to scan the document.
The document will be scanned first and then transmitted to the stored fax num-
ber.

key.

Dateneingabe
key.

OK
key.

the
arrow keys
to scroll through the va-
rious main menus:
– USER SETTINGS,
– REPORT SETTINGS,
– TX SETTINGS,
– RX SETTINGS,
– PRINTER SETTINGS,
– POLLING BOX,
– SYSTEM SETTINGS

Confirm your menu selection by pressing the
OK
key. The first sub menu within the selected
main menu will then be displayed, e.g.:

Select the sub menu you require by pressing
the
arrow keys
.

Confirm your sub menu selection by pressing
the
OK
key.
The current setting will then be displayed.

Select the desired setting by pressing the
ar-
row keys
, e.g.:

Confirm your setting by pressing the

You can cancel a setting or function by pres-
sing the
Stop
key.
