OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
DC Battery Supply
Open the battery compartment and insert as indicated in the compartment two batteries, type
LR6, UM3 or AA cells.
Radio
1. Select the wave band using RADIO BAND SELECTOR.
2. Adjust the sound with the controls VOLUME.
3. You may connect stereo headphones with a 3.5mm jack. Plug in the earphone jack to the
socket PHONES. The speaker will automatically stop to work.
4. Tune to a radio station using the TUNING knob.
To improve reception:
- For FM, pull out the telescopic aerial antenna. To improve the FM Reception, incline and turn
the aerial, reduce its length if the FM-signal is too strong (very close to a transmitter).
- For AM, the unit is provided with a built-in aerial, so there is no need to use the telescopic aerial.
Rotate the unit
to find the best position.
CLEANING
Clean the cabinet with a soft cloth moistened with water or mild detergent. Do not use solvents
such as alcohol, benzene
or thinner, as they may damage the cabinet finish. Make sure to
disconnect the mains lead from the supply before cleaning.
