Connection to cooker hood
Combini EC is designed for connection to, and for operation from, special cooker hood. The cooker hood
is provided with special plugs for direct connection if the cooker hood is installed under the unit (
fig.13
).
For remote installation of the cooker hood, use fixed wiring for the mains supply by means of PFXPplastic
cable 3x1,5 mm2 + earth. Use the existing 3-pole Ensto plugs (Ensto NAC32SH.W unit side & Ensto
NAC31SH.W on the side of the cooker hood) as connectors between the unit and the prolonged
cable from the cooker hood. The 4-pole plugs (Ensto NAC42SH.W unit side & Ensto NAC41SH.W on the
side of the cooker hood) are used for the control signal connection. (As an alternative to Ensto plugs,
standard junction box can be applied).

Commissioning
The speed of the supply air fan of Combini EC can be adjusted by turning a knob situated inside the
electrical connection box (
fig.14
). The knob, a step-less potentiometer, makes it possible to lower the
supply air fan speed down to 75% of the speed of the extract air fan, thereby ensuring the proper balance
in the unit and building.
