4 Changing the bypass damper in the units
produced before 10–08–2014
If the SAVE VTC 700 unit was produced before the
10th of August 2014
, a new released bypass damper
cannot be changed directly anymore as shown in the installation section 3
.
The new bypass damper do not use the transformer which is located in the connection box, therefore it
must be disconnected and cables connected via adapter before mounting the new bypass damper into
place. Carefully perform additional steps bellow to complete the installation:
The unit production date can be found on the type label (see: step 2, page 8 , pos 1), which can be found
on top of the unit close to the duct connections or inside in the bottom of the unit.

Disconnect the unit from the mains supply (see: step 1, page 2 ), release the lock of the front hatch
(see: step 2, page 2 ) and remove the hatch (see: step 3, page 2 ).

Remove 4 screws and open the right door.
Note:
On the left (L) model the connection box is located on the left side of the unit.
