INDUSTRIAL PC - COPILOT 15,6"

 Order 2E00xxxx

November 2020 - Rev. 1.2

5.3 Cleaning and Maintenance

of the Touch Screen System

For proper cleaning and maintenance of the touch screen

a solution of distilled water or isopropyl alcohol should

be applied over a clean cloth, after making sure that the

cloth is well saturated with dirt or residues.

Make a "Z" movement, evenly across the entire surfa-

ce, after possibly positioning the Copilot horizontally to

prevent droplets from falling down and remaining inside

the frame.

CAUTION: DO NOT USE ACIDS,
SOLVENTS, VINEGAR, OR SOLUTIONS
ALKALINE FOR CLEANING OR BLEACH

After cleaning the surface of the touch screen, wipe it dry
carefully with a dry cloth, removing the more
possible the sanitizing solution.

NB: DO NOT SPRAY THE SOLUTION

DIRECTLY ONTO THE SURFACE OF

THE TOUCH SCREEN.

Solutions containing alcohol are corrosive for the
touch coatings, so do not leave in contact
with the surface for over 2 minutes.
After cleaning, make sure you have removed all
the residues present and carried out this operation only if
necessary, as, for excessive pressure from
part of the user may remove or damage the
anti-glare treatment.

6. Adjusting the

brightness of the

display

The

 Copilot 15.6 "

allows adjusting the brightness of

the backlight using the communication of the operating

system with the integrated power supply.

In the Power Options configuration page, you can con

-

figure the desired brightness according to the desired

power plan.
It is possible, for example, to reduce the brightness

after a set time.

System Electronics provides tools and examples to be

able to adjust the brightness of the display remotely,

typically from a supervisor pc via ethernet communica-

tion it is possible to simultaneously adjust the brightness

of all the terminals of the machine, to adapt them to the

environmental context (daylight / night light)
For versions with Intel i5 / i7 series processor there is

a utility for changing the backlight in the system tray.
