Chapter 2: Hardware Setup
Attach M2D17 Adapter Card to FlashStation
Your FlashStation supports one M2D17 adapter card. To replace the long bracket with the M2D17 adapter card,
please follow the instructions below.
To install the M2D17 adapter card:

Shut down your FlashStation and disconnect all cables from your FlashStation to prevent any possible
damages.

Remove the 6 screws that secure the main unit, and then pull the top cover in the direction as illustrated below.

Add M.2 SSD to M2D17 adapter card:

Insert M.2 SSD into the slot. Make sure the card is fully inserted.

Tighten the SSD with a screw.

Repeat previous two steps if installing another optional SSD is needed. Slot numbereds are shown as below.
