Slightly tilt the cover and align the two rubber packs at the bottom of the cover with the edges adjacent to the
left side of the first tray and the right side of the fourth tray, and then push the upper cover to lodge the top
packs into the DiskStation.
Note:
If you want to set up a RAID set, it is recommended that all installed hard disks are of the same size to make
the best use of hard disk capacity.
Start Up Your DiskStation

Connect the AC adapter to the power port of DiskStation. Connect one end of the AC power cord to the AC
power adapter, and the other to the power outlet.

Use the LAN cable to connect DiskStation to your switch/router/hub.

Press and hold the power button to turn on your DiskStation.
Your DiskStation is now online and detectable from a network computer.
