Chapter 2: Hardware Setup

Turn on Server

Connect the AC adapter to the power port, fix the cable to the cable lock, and then plug the power cord into a

power socket.

Use the LAN cable to connect DiskStation to your switch/router/hub.

3

Press and hold the power button to turn on your DiskStation.

Your DiskStation is now online and detectable from a network computer.
