LAN Port Configuration
Clicking the Router hyperlink brings up the Configure LAN Port screen (Figure 38).
Procedure K describes the method for configuring the LAN Port.

Step Procedure

Select the Ethernet hyperlink in the System Menu (Figure 38).
Note: Refer to Figure 39 for steps 2 through 6.

Enter the values for Local IP and Subnet Mask in the respective fields.

If RIP is not desired for the Routing Table , deselect the box ( RIP is the default setting).

Select either DHCP Server , DHCP Relay , or Outbound Filtering under Advanced .

Enter the value for DNS Relay in the provided field.

Click the Apply button if all data is correct.
