Remove the three screws shown in Figure 2-12 from the back of the MK2200 and remove the protective
cover. Retain only the screw from the protective cover. Two new (longer) screws are provided with the
MSR.

CAUTION When removing an access cover, follow proper ESD precautions to avoid damaging sensitive
components. These precautions include, but are not limited to, working on an ESD mat and ensuring that the
operator is properly grounded. Failure to apply proper ESD precautions can damage the MK2200 and void the
warranty.
