Installation: LS 4800 with Synapse

1. Switch off all devices to be connected to the LS 4800 

scanning system.

2. Connect the output cable into the port at the base of the 

scanner’s handle. Use the end indicated in the diagram.

• Plug in the modular connector.

• Slide the collar up into the keys.

3. Follow additional instructions in the cable’s Interface 

Guide. Power is applied by the Synapse “Smart Cable” 
interface.
