iPOS 3100 Software Suite
Introduction
The iPOS 3100 Software Suite for Windows and IBM-based host environments includes
various development tools that enable application development for the iPOS 3100. Based
on OPOS or JPOS industry standards, the Software Suite allows developers to use C/C++
or Visual Basic to integrate the iPOS 3100 into the store payment system.
JPOS
The JPOS library and standards provide Java drivers for transaction functionality that
allows the host to interact with the iPOS 3100. This is only supported for script mode. For

IBM 4690 SDK
The IBM 4690 SDK development tool includes C-BASIC libraries and utility software for
signature capture, debit/credit transaction, and graphics display in an IBM 4690 OS

OPOS
The OPOS development tool provides drivers for the host to interface with the iPOS 3100
using the OPOS library and standards. OPOS operates in the 32-bit Windows environment
only, and includes an OPOS-compliant OLE Service Object and OPOS-compliant Active-X
