Cluster field descriptions
Watchlist window
You can select different security gateway processes to monitor at any time. For example; If you have a
deployment where the only purpose is to serve up Web pages and the HTTP proxy goes down, this
causes the entire cluster to signal the fault. The cluster status on the Cluster Member window displays
that the cluster node is down, and the message displayed is “Not all nodes are up (Process Failed).”

Add Watched Process
This dialog box lets you add a watched process to the Watchlist window.

Ping Groups window
You can configure ping groups to monitor any device on any network. For example, servers, switches,
hosts, routers, and so forth.
If the Ping group fails, the whole cluster goes down. You can see this in the Cluster Status page, which
will report: “Not all nodes are up” “Process Failed” for all nodes.
