Proxy Properties: NBDGRAM—General tab
The NetBIOS Datagram (NBDGRAM) proxy transports NetBIOS traffic over UDP port 138. This proxy is
most useful in cases where NetBIOS services need to pass through the security gateway, but some sort
of non-standard routing or address hiding is in effect. If you want to communicate with domain
controllers through a security gateway, you should use the NetBIOS datagram proxy when creating
your rule for this type of access.
