Proxy Properties: DNS—Description tab
Optionally, provides an extended description. This information is useful to help track changes or it can
be used as criteria for searches.
The maximum length is 20,000 alphanumeric characters.
Proxy Properties: FTP—General tab
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a TCP-based connection-oriented protocol that lets clients log onto a
remote FTP server to transfer or manage files. This application also lets you remotely manage
directories for those servers.

The tasks that you can perform with this tab include:

Deny outside RFC1918
addresses
When enabled, lookup responses received from the outside interface that contain
such addresses (RFC 1918) are denied. If you are using reserved addresses on the
outside interface of your security gateway, disable this option.
This option is checked by default.
Log RFC1918 failures
When enabled, allows the logging for RFC 1918 failures.
This option is checked by default.

Message that the FTP proxy displays when an FTP client connects.

An optional, brief description of the FTP proxy.
