Time Period Range Properties—Time Range tab
Use the Time Range tab to specify the time limits that are enforced when the time period is included in
a rule or notification.

Field
Description
Time zone
Time zone used in the time period range.
The default is the local time zone of the security gateway.
Time Range/Enable time
range
Indicates whether the specification of a time range is enabled.
This option is unchecked by default.
Time Range/From
Beginning time of the time range in hours, minutes, and seconds, and whether the
time is AM or PM.
The default is 12:00:00 AM.
Time Range/Through
Ending time of the time range in hours, minutes, and seconds, and whether the time
is AM or PM.
The default is 12:00:00 AM.
Day range/From
Day of the week on which the time period range begins.
The default, Not Defined, means that this time period range does not use a day
range.
Day range/Through
Day of the week on which the time period range ends.
The default, Not defined, means that this time period range does not use a day range.
Date Range/From
Date that ends the time period range:

Month
From the drop-down list, select a month.
The default, Not Defined, means that no date range has been defined.
■
Day
Use the up and down arrows to select a day, or type an integer between 1 and 31.
The default, 0, is only applicable if the Month is Not defined.
■
Year
Use the up and down arrows to select a Year, or type an integer.
The default, 0, is only applicable if the Month is Not defined.

Date that ends the time period range:
