Menu option field descriptions
The topics in this appendix represent the online Help that you can display from specific points in the
SGMI, including the following:
■
Individual tabs of properties dialog boxes that you use to configure security gateway objects.
■
Dialog boxes that display as a result of an action you take while configuring an object.
■
Right pane tabs of the SGMI window that you use to configure security gateway features such as
antivirus and antispam.
■
Dialog boxes that display when you make a menu selection.
Each topic provides a brief description of the SGMI feature, one or more cross-references to how you
can use the feature, and a table that describes the controls that you can use to configure the security
gateway from this point in the SGMI.
Monitors field descriptions
The Monitors section lets you view current and archived information about your security gateway,
such as traffic, events, and resource usage. You can also create notifications to alert system
administrators when a specified level of events occur, so that they can address them quickly.
Overall Health
The Overall Health window lets you see the status of your security gateway in real time. The
information that is displayed in the history graphs is updated while the you are logged in even if you
are viewing other pages.
