The certificate authority appears in the Certificate Authorities list.

When prompted to save your changes, click

Creating a new certificate
You can use a self-signed certificate (one that is signed by the security gateway) to replace the unsigned
certificate that appears during the security gateway logon. This provides enhanced security and an
improved experience for the user.
Prerequisites
None.
To create a new certificate

In the SGMI, in the left pane, under System, click
Configuration
.

In the right pane, on the SSL Server Certificates tab, click
Create new certificate
.

In the Create New Certificate dialog box, do the following:

OK

Optionally, do one of the following:

To save your configuration now and activate later, on the toolbar, click

To activate your configuration now, on the toolbar, click
Activate

When prompted to save your changes, click

Common name
Type the common name of the certificate, using both the host and domain name.
This should match the host name of the security gateway.
Organizational unit
Type the organizational unit of the certificate.
Organization
Type the organization of the certificate.
Locality
Type the locality of the certificate.
State/Province
Type the state or province in which the locality is located. Abbreviations are not
permitted. This entry must be spelled out completely.
Country
Type the country in which the state or province is located. In the case of the United
States, type US, not USA.
