On the Windows desktop, double-click the
Norton
Personal Firewall icon.

On the Windows System tray, double-click the
Norton Personal Firewall icon.
In Windows XP, the system tray is called the
notification area.
To display the Norton Personal Firewall button and
menu on the Internet Explorer toolbar

Open Internet Explorer.
2 In Internet Explorer, on the View menu, click Toolbars
> Norton Personal Firewall .
3 To the right of the Norton Personal Firewall button,
click the arrow to make more choices.
To start Norton Personal Firewall from the Internet
Explorer toolbar

On the Internet Explorer toolbar, click the Norton
Personal Firewall button, and then click
Configure
security settings .
