Using Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition

Configuring Startup Scans
Some users supplement a scheduled scan with an automatic scan
whenever they start their computers. Often, a Startup Scan is restricted to
critical, high-risk folders, such as the Windows folder and folders that store
Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel templates.
Note:
If you create more than one Startup Scan, the scans will run
sequentially in the order that they were created.
To configure a Startup Scan
1
Open Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition.
2
In the Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition main window, in the left
pane, click
Startup Scans
.

Click
New Startup Scan

scanned and how to respond if a virus is detected.

preset options are to scan all files, clean the virus from an infected file,
and to quarantine the infected file if the virus cannot be removed.
Note:
Modified settings apply only to the scan you are configuring.
