The appliance is designed for mains operation with an alternating voltage of 120V~60Hz.
Never attempt to operate the appliance with a deviating power supply. Otherwise the
appliance will be damaged and there is a risk of safety.
MAINS (AC) OPERATION
Connect the supplied cable to a fully installed 120V ~ 60Hz protective contact scoket and
to the cable socket on the back of the device. The appliance is now ready for use.
CAUTION
To prevent electric shock disconnect from the mains before removing cover. No user
serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
OPERATION
•
To turn on the radio, set the OFF/AM/FM Switch to either AM or FM. The back light of
frequency scale on the display will light up.
•
For FM reception, pull out the telescopic antenna as far as possible and direct it for
possible reception.
•
For AM reception, transmitters an internal ferrite antenna is built into the appliance.
Position the appliance for a good reception.
•
Adjust the station selector TUNING to the intended station.
•
Adjust the Volume Control to the intended sound.
•
To turn off the radio, set the OFF/AM/FM Switch to OFF. The back light of frequency scale
on the display will extinguish.
CARE
Protect the appliance from strong temperature variations and excess dust. If necessary,
wipe it off with a dry cloth.
