1 Intended use

The product is designed to control a PC and for entering data.

The mouse and keyboard communicate with the PC via a wireless connection.

Environment

The product is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors.

Contact with moisture, e.g. in bathrooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.

Improper use and modifications

The product complies with the statutory national and European requirements.

For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify the product.

If you use the product for purposes other than those described, the product may be damaged.

Improper use can result in short circuits, fires, or other hazards.

Operating instructions

Read the instructions carefully and store them in a safe place.

Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

4 Description of symbols

The arrow symbol indicates special information and advice on operation.

The symbol with the exclamation mark in the triangle is used to indicate important informa-
tion in these operating instructions. Always read this information carefully.

5 Safety instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully and especially observe the safety informa-
tion. If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in
this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to
property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty/guarantee.

5.1 User and handling

The product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.

Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become dangerous playing mater-
ial for children.

Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height can damage the
product.

5.2 Environment

Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.

Protect the appliance from extreme temperatures, strong jolts, flammable gases, steam and solvents.

Protect the product from high humidity and moisture.

Protect the product from direct sunlight.

5.3 Batteries

Correct polarity must be observed while inserting batteries.

The batteries should be removed from the device if it is not used for a long period of time to avoid
damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns when in contact with
skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.

Batteries must be kept out of reach of children. Do not leave batteries lying around, as there is risk,
that children or pets swallow them.

All batteries should be replaced at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the device can lead
to battery leakage and device damage.

Batteries must not be dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. There is a risk of explosion!

5.4 Connected devices

Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are connected to the
product.

6 Getting started

6.1 Connecting the USB receiver

Connect the USB receiver to a PC to establish a wireless connection to the mouse and the keyboard.

Prerequisites:

The PC to which you connect the USB receiver is switched on.

1. Unlock the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the mouse and remove it.

2. Remove the USB receiver from the battery compartment.

3. Connect the USB receiver to a USB port on your PC.

To prevent loss, store the receiver in the battery compartment of the mouse when it is not in
use.

6.2 Inserting batteries into the keyboard

Insert batteries into the keyboard to use it.

Prerequisites:

If there is an insulating strip protruding from the battery compartment, pull it out to establish the power
supply. In this case, there is no need to insert batteries.

Required number of batteries and type: number of batteries 2x / type: AAA

1. Unlock the battery compartment cover on the bottom and remove it.

2. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment observing the correct polarity. Observe of the polarity

markings in the battery compartment.

(PC is running and USB receiver is connected) The indicator light on the keyboard flashes for a
few seconds and then goes out. This indicates that the keyboard has been paired with the PC.

(USB receiver not connected or PC is off) The indicator light on the keyboard is lit for a short time
and then goes out.

3. Replace the battery compartment cover and lock it.

6.3 Inserting batteries into the mouse

Insert batteries into the mouse to use it.

Prerequisites:

If there is an insulating strip protruding from the battery compartment, pull it out to establish the power
supply. In this case, there is no need to insert batteries.

mouse flashes for a few seconds and then goes out. This indicates that the mouse has been
paired with the PC.

(USB receiver not connected or PC is off) The indicator light located on the side of the mouse is lit
for a short time and then goes out.

3. Replace the battery compartment cover and lock it.

6.4 Placing the keyboard

Place the keyboard on an even and stable surface.

Consider the following points when placing the keyboard:

NOTICE! The keyboard can leave marks on sensitive surfaces.

Range: max. 10 m

Sources of interference such as spurious frequencies, walls, etc. can reduce the range.

6.5 Placing the mouse

Place the mouse on an even and stable surface.

Consider the following points when placing the mouse:

NOTICE! The mouse can leave marks on sensitive surfaces.

Range: max. 10 m

Sources of interference such as spurious frequencies, walls, etc. can reduce the range.

The optical sensor of the mouse does not work on all surfaces. The mouse does not work on reflect-
ive surfaces or glass.

7 Using the keyboard

Enter text into the PC using the text input keys.

Control common functions on the PC via the "hotkeys".

7.1 Switching on and off

The keyboard is switched on as soon as batteries are inserted. The keyboard cannot be turned off manu-
ally.

The keyboard is ready for use as soon as it is connected to the PC.

The keyboard goes into power-saving mode when not in use.

To wake up the keyboard:

1. Press any key.
