Intended use
The LED panel is intended for illuminating indoor areas; it may be installed and used
only in dry, enclosed indoor rooms. The product is intended for suspension at the
ceiling where it is hung up by means of 4 steel cables (included in the delivery).
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Any use other than that described above may damage the product. Moreover, this
may give rise to hazards such as short-circuiting,

re, electric shock, etc. No part of the
product may be modi
fi
ed or converted!

Safety Instructions
Read the complete operating manual carefully before using the product,
as it contains important information about the correct installation and
operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to
observe these operating instructions! We do not assume any liability for
any consequential damage!
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused
by improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The
warranty will be void in such cases!
Caution!
The product may only be installed by a quali
fi
ed technician (e.g. electri-
cian) who is familiar with the relevant regulations (e.g. VDE, German
electrical wiring regulations)!
Improper work carried out at the mains voltage endangers not only your
life but also the life of others!
If you do not have the expertise required for the installation, do not in-
stall it yourself but entrust the work to a quali
fi
ed electrician.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modi
fi
cation of the product is not
allowed for safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children! There
is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• Installation and connection of the product must only be carried out while
the power is disconnected.
• The product may be installed and used only in dry indoor rooms; it must not
get damp or wet, danger of fatal electric shock!
• Do not use this product in rooms or under adverse environmental condi-
tions where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or where they may be
present! There is a risk of explosion!
• Use the product only when it is
fi
rmly and steadily mounted.
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibra-
tions or heavy mechanical stress.
• Do not attach objects (e.g. decorative material) to the LED panel or place
them in its vicinity; there is a risk of
fi
re.
• Attention, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, dis-
connect the product immediately and secure it against inadvertent opera-
tion. After this, arrange for an expert to check the product.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage,
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is
fl
ickering
light, leaking smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises, or dis-
colouration to the product or to adjacent surfaces.)
- the product was stored under unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport

Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around since it could
become a dangerous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Em-
ployer’s Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating
Facilities are to be observed!
• If you have any questions that are not answered in these operating instruc-
tions, please contact our technical service or another specialist.
Preparations for Installation
Please consult the chapter “Safety Instructions”!
• Only mount the LED panel on a stable surface, e. g. concrete ceiling.
• The LED panel must be installed out of the reach of children.
• The LED panel must be protected in the on-site sub-distributor by a 10/16A fuse.
• The LED panel must be disconnected from the power supply during installation. It is
not suf
fi
cient to just turn off the light switch!
Turn the power off and ensure that none of the poles is live by removing the electric
circuit's fuse or switching off at the circuit breaker. Secure it against unauthorised
reconnection, e.g., with a danger sign. In addition, switch off the appropriate earth-
leakage circuit breaker.
• Check that the mains cable is free of current e.g. with an appropriate tester.
