c) Product
• The product is designed in accordance with protection class I. Only a standard
grounding mains socket of the public supply grid (a wall socket, for example) may
be used as a power source.
• The product is equipped with an enhanced protection against accidental contact.
An integrated mechanism will release the holes of the receptacle only, if the two
prongs of a power plug are inserted into the two holes at once.
• Take special caution when children are around. Children cannot recognize the
danger arising from the incorrect use of electrical devices. There is a risk of a
life-threatening electric shock!
d) Handling and Use
• Never touch the product or connected loads with wet hands. Risk of a life-threat-
ening electric shock!
• Never connect the product to the power supply immediately after it has been
transferred from a cold room into a warm one. Risk of electric shock! Allow the
product to reach room temperature. Wait until the condensation has evaporated.
This might take several hours. Only then the product may be plugged into the
mains socket and put into use.
• The socket outlet is only de-energized with the mains plug disconnected.
• Do not connect in series! This can lead to an overload of the product! There is a
risk of fire!

Do not operate while covered. Risk of fire!
• The mains socket into which the product is plugged must be easily accessible.
• Never pour any liquids above or next to the product. You run the risk of causing a
fire or a fatal electric shock! First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g.
via the respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the
mains socket.
Warning labels
Warning labels are included in the package. Stick the label in your language over or next
to the language label on the product.
Care and cleaning
• Disconnect any peripherals and the product from the mains before each cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.

Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house-
hold waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with
applicable regulatory guidelines.

Intended use
The product is a 3-way socket splitter with on/off switch.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bath-
rooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.

the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In
addition, improper use can result in short circuits, fires, electric shocks or other hazards. Read

a) General information
• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
