Charging the battery

Connect one end of the included cable to the microUSB 

DC 5V 

port on the product. Connect 

the other end to a suitable power source. 
An LED indicator besides the microUSB port will show the charging status:

 - RED: charging in progress
 - BLUE: battery fully charged

Mounting options

 Important

•  Locate the product away from appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, heaters, and 

air conditioners. They can affect the sensitivity of the sensor.

•  Solid objects such as glass and curtains between the sensor and a person can pre-

vent the sensor from activating the light.

a) 

Magnetic surface

The product has a rear magnet. You an attach it to a magnetic surface such as a refrigerator.

b) 

Mounting plate

If the surface is not magnetic, use the metal mounting plate.
1. 

Make sure the surface is clean, flat, smooth and non-porous.

2.  Remove the adhesive tape and press and hold it against the surface for approx 1 minute.
3.  Attach the product to the metal mounting plate.

c) Hanging hole

There is a hanging hole at the back of the product. Use it to hang over a protruding nail or 

screw.

Use the mode switch to select a mode.

•  The sensor activates when it gets dark.
•  When the sensor detects motion, it will trigger the light.
•  The light will switch off approximately 30 seconds after no mo-

tion is detected within the detection range. 

Care and cleaning

•  Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as 

they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.

• 

Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.

Disposal

  Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the house-

hold waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with 

applicable regulatory guidelines.

Intended use

The product is a battery operated night light with PIR sensor.
It is intended for indoor use only. Do not use it outdoors. Contact with moisture, e.g. in bath-

rooms, must be avoided under all circumstances.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use 

the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In 

addition, improper use can result in or other hazards. Read the instructions carefully and store 

them in a safe place. Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating 

instructions.

a) 

General information

•  The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the 

reach of children and pets.

•  Do not leave packaging material lying 

around carelessly. This may become dan-

gerous playing material for children.

•  Protect the appliance from extreme tem-

peratures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, 

high humidity, moisture, flammable gases, 

steam and solvents.

•  Do not place the product under any me-

chanical stress.

•  If it is no longer possible to operate the 

product safely, take it out of operation and 

protect it from any accidental use. Safe 

operation can no longer be guaranteed if 

the product:

 - is visibly damaged,
 - is no longer working properly,
 - has been stored for extended periods in 

poor ambient conditions or

 - has been subjected to any serious trans-

port-related stresses.

•  Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, 

impacts or a fall even from a low height can 

damage the product.

•  Consult an expert when in doubt about the 

operation, safety or connection of the ap-

pliance.

• 

Maintenance,  modifications  and  repairs 

must only be completed by a technician or 

an authorised repair centre.

•  If you have questions which remain un-

answered by these operating instructions, 

contact our technical support service or 

other technical personnel.

b) 

LED light

•  Attention, LED light:

 - Do not look directly into the LED light!
 - Do not look into the beam directly or with 

optical instruments!

c) (Rechargeable) batteries

•  The rechargeable battery is permanently 

built into the product and cannot be re-

placed.

•  Never damage the rechargeable battery. 

Damaging the casing of the rechargeable 

battery might cause an explosion or a fire!

•  Never short-circuit the contacts of the 

rechargeable battery. Do not throw the 

battery or the product into fire. There is a 

danger of fire and explosion!

•  Charge the rechargeable battery regularly, 

even if you do are not using the product. 

Due to the rechargeable  battery technol-

ogy being used, you do not need to dis-

charge the rechargeable battery first.

•  Never charge the rechargeable battery of 

the product unattended.

•  When charging, place the product on a 

surface that is not heat-sensitive. It is nor-

mal that a certain amount  of heat is gener-

ated during charging.
