11. Installation
a) Choosing a location
The power cable should be connected to the adaptor
in a weatherproof socket box, or routed indoors via a
weatherproofed cable inlet.
If the camera is placed behind glass, glare from
infrared LED lights may over expose the image.
• The camera recording angle and motion detection angle is
affected by the placement of the device.
• Check that the device is within range of your network access
point.
- Wi-Fi: within range
- LAN cable: max. 100 m
• You may need to set up a wireless repeater to improve the
connection.
• The power cable is 2.3 m long. Make sure there is a suitable
power outlet close enough to your mounting location to
connnect the USB power adaptor.
