d) Programming regular users
You can program up to 500 user codes on the keypad. To do so,
assign the ID numbers from 0 to 499. The length of a user PIN
code can vary from 4 to 8 digits. Four digits are the minimum
length.
Start your entry with the * key, followed by
the current master code (in this example,
the factory preset code "123456" is used).
Press the # key to confirm your entry. A long
beep/buzz indicates the switch. The red LED
flashes every 1.5 seconds to indicate that
programming mode is enabled.
Start with the number 1. Then select a user
ID. In the example, "2" is the first user. Press
the # button. Then set a user PIN code
("654321"). Press the # key again and enter
the same user PIN code again for verifica -
tion purposes.
To confirm the user's record, complete the
entry with the # key.
The keypad will buzz/beep each time a key
is pressed. The red LED flashes every 1.5
seconds during the programming process.
Repeat the above steps in the same way to
program up to 499 additional users.
After you have entered all desired users,
press the * button to exit programming
mode.
