11. Setting up
a) Charge battery
Before using for the first time, completely charge the
battery via USB. The battery charging time is around
4 - 5 hours.
View the battery status via the “Smart Life” app.
1. Open the rubber compartment cover (6).
2. Connect one end of the USB cable to the 5V/2A charging port
on your device, and the other end to a suitable USB power
supply.
3. When charging is complete, close the rubber compartment
cover. Make sure there are no gaps where water can enter.
b) Insert and format microSD card
The microSD card should be formatted using the
FAT32 file system. Refer to your computer software
instructions for information about how to do this.
The camera supports class 10 SD cards 8 - 128 GB
capacity.
• Open the main compartment cover (8).
• Insert a card into the slot in the direction
shown, it will “click” into place.
•
To eject, use the tip of your finger to press
down until you feel a “click”, then release.
