The Historical Server files are:

•

Control file – all recording sessions for the same Historical Server use
the same control file. For information about multiple Historical
Server instances and control files, see “Configuring multiple
instances of Historical Server” on page 23.

•

Error message file – each recording session has its own error message
file. The file is empty if no errors are logged for the session.
