SAFETY    PRECAUTIONS

4

4.1

  Follow  the  general  safety  instructions  by  operation  of  refrigerator-freezer.

4.2

  Your  appliance  conforms  to

  I.  Class

  of  electric  shock  protection.  Please  contact

qualified  electrician  if  the  power  cord  plug  of  the  appliance  does  not  suit  to  your  socket  (at
the  expense  of  customer).

4.3

  Check  the  working  order  of  the  socket  and  the  plug  as  well  as  insulation  integrity  of

the  power  cord  before  switching  on  the  appliance.

4.4

Avoid

  any  damages  of  the  power  cord.  If  the  power  cord  is  damaged  it  is  only  to  be

replaced  with  the  same  one  obtained  by  manufacturer  or  service  workshop.  In  order  to  avoid
hazard  the  replacement  of  the  power  cord  should  be  only  carried  out  by  qualified  technicians
of  authorized  service.  If  there  is  any  sign  of  decreasing  of  appliance  insulation  properties
(slight  pricking  by  touching  of  metal  parts),

turn  off  the  appliance  immediately

  and  call

technician  from  service  workshop  in  order  to  detect  and  eliminate  the  failure.

4.5

Do  not  put

  heating  devices  on  the  top  plate  1  (pic.  B.2)  of  the  appliance  as  it  can

cause  the  burning  of  plastic.

Avoid

  coming  of  moisture  on  conducting  parts  at  the  rear  side  of  the  refrigerator-

freezer.

4.6

  Clean  the  rear  parts  of  the  appliance  (condenser  etc.)  from  dust  periodically  (at  least

one  time  per  year)  with  non-metallic  brush  or  vacuum  cleaner.  Prior  any  cleaning  attempts
disconnect  the  appliance  from  the  mains  and  pull  the  power  cord  from  the  mains  wall  outlet.

4.7

  In  fire  safety  reasons  do  the  following:

-  do  not  connect  the  appliance  to  mains  supply  with  damaged  overload  protection;
-  do  not  use  adapters,  additional  sockets  and  extension  cords  for  connection;
-  do  not  call  the  person  who  does  not  have  appropriate  approval  (license)  in  order  to

replace  the  components  of  wiring;

-  do  not  use  the  light  bulb  with  power  of  more  than  15  W;
-  do  not  operate  the  appliance  above  its  lifetime  (further  operation  is  only  possible  after

complete  wiring  replacement).
