2.3 Function display
As soon as the beacon is powered by the power supply
unit, a green light is visible. If there is no power supply from
the power supply unit, the indicator goes out.
Note: In direct sunlight, the function indicator may not
be visible.
2.4 Changing the backup battery
Loosen the screw on the bottom of the SOS-Beacon
Infinite Life. Afterwards, the lid can be easily lifted.
Remove the old batteries and place the new, full batteries
in the battery compartment, where the correct battery
polarity is indicated.
Put the lid back on the base and screw it from below with
the screw that you removed earlier.
Please note that the batteries are only intended as back-up
batteries. For continuous operation the power supply
should be provided by the mains adapter.
ACHTUNG
Observe precautionary measures regarding
the handling of electro-statically sensitive
devices. Do not touch the circuit board
without protection.
