Starting:

Before starting the vehicle, be sure all people are clear of the area.  

Operator must be sitting in the seat.  Drive pedal must be disengaged (up position). Blade engagement    

lever must be in the disengage position (forward position). 

Turn the ignition key to position four and hold until engine runs. Depending on weather and run 

conditions the choke lever may need to be engaged until the engine is running.

Once started, the key will automatically return to position three. Set engine RPM to maximum (Fast) and 

then engage the blades. Depress the drive pedal to begin mowing.

In order to mow in a generally rearward direction you must first turn the key to position two. Return the 

key to position three when finished mowing in reverse.

NOTE:

If you have never used a tractor or zero turn mower before, refer to the Operation Controls section of 
this manual before attempting to operate one for the first time.
