B elt Adjustm ent
•
The TR IM -N -MO W has an autom atic belt tightener an d ne eds no further adjustm ent
•
The TR IM -M AX has an autom atic belt tightener tha t a utom atically adjusts w he n the head is
tilted. If you do not regularly tilt the head o n yo ur trim m er, it is recom m ended tha t you loosen
the head tw ice a year. (Se e edge trim m ing)
B elt Replacem ent
•
R em ove front belt cover.
•
Push trim m er head to ward back of unit, com pressing tensio ner sprin g.
•
R em ove old b elt.
•
Install ne w belt b y first rou ting belt und er the engine a nd arou nd the engine pulley.
•
Push trim m er head to ward back of unit, com pressing tensio ner sprin g.
•
Install belt over front pulle y.
•
R elease trim m er head. En sure that be lt is correctly installed in the groove of th e eng ine and
front pulle ys.
R e install front belt sh ield.
