DISENGAGED
(UP)
Before attempting to operate or work on the machine,
be sure that the drive pedal located at the lower right
side of the machine is fully disengaged in the UP
position.
ON
OFF
Add gas to fuel tank. Turn fuel valve to the ON position.
Check Engine oil level before each operation.
(Refer to engine Owners Manual)
To start the machine set the throttle to fast and engage
the choke. Turn the Ignition Key to position four until
the engine fires. Disengage the choke after engine is
running. NOTE: To mow in a generally rearward
direction, turn the key to position two. To turn off the
engine return the key to position one.
Before driving, check the direction of the drive
wheel is in the direction that will drive the machine
FORWARD (see Owners Manual for reference). To
begin driving, depress the drive pedal all the way
down until the machine begins moving forward.
