APPROXIMATELY EVERY SIX MONTHS
- Disconnect the unit from the mains.
- Open the hatch, and the door switch switches off power. Wait five
minutes to allow the fans to stop and to let any hot heaters cool
down.
- Remove
the outside air filter (1).
(above the changer). Wash
or wipe it down.
- Remove exhaust air
coarse mesh filter G3 (2)
(above the changer),
and dust or vacuum-clean it.
- Remove
the fine filter (3)
(above the changer) and vacuum-clean
it carefully.
- Clean the unit’s interior surfaces – for example, by vacuuming them
or wiping them down.
- Pour water into the unit and check that it drains
into the drain-
age connector (4)
.
- Dry the unit. Replace the changer, with the arrow pointing upwards.
- Reinstall the filters.
- Close the hatch and wait for the fans to start.
ABOUT EVERY 12 MONTHS
- Change the filters.
- Remove
the plate heat exchanger (5)
and rinse it in running
water, or wash with dishwashing liquid. Allow the element to dry.
HEAT RECOVERY BYPASS
In summer, heat recovery can be prevented (see Instructions for Use,
section 5). The reheater thermostat can be reinstalled for the winter.
Study the instructions carefully.
