IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using your hot tray, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
Read all the instructions carefully, and keep them in a safe place.
Supervise children closely when they are near the hot tray, or are trying to use it.
Before connecting the hot tray, check that the voltage indicated on the rating plate on the
appliance, corresponds with the mains voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact
your dealer, and do not plug the unit in.
Switch the unit off and unplug it from the plug socket before cleaning it, or when it is not in
use.
The maximum weight that can be put onto the tray is 15Kg.
Do not operate or place any part of this appliance on or near any hot surfaces (such as a gas
or an electric burner or in a heated oven.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let it touch hot surfaces.
Never pull on the cord, as this may damage it and eventually cause a risk of electric shock.
If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
Avoid touching the tray surface. Pick it up by the cool touch areas only.
Extreme caution must be used if moving the tray when it is hot.
To protect against electrical hazards, do not immerse this appliance in any liquid.
The tray should not be left connected to a wall socket when not in use.
Do not use the hot tray for any other purpose other than the warming food.
This product has not been designed for any uses other than those specified in this manual.
Ensure that the tray is always operated on a level surface.
Never place the hot tray on a hot surface or metal tray.
Keep children away and ensure that users are fully aware of the danger of the heated
surface.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of this appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
WARNING: Keep the appliance dry!
