7. Before you request a replacement
Any of the issues noted below do not necessarily mean failure of the monitor.
Please check following and contact Swann support before you request a repair
or replacement.
Problem
Possible Causes
No picture, no sound
Improper connection with CAR adapter.
Use of incorrect power supply. The power
switch is in the Off position.
No image
AV cord is incorrectly plugged or wrong AV
input is selected?
No sound
Audio cord incorrectly plugged or wrong
AV input is selected, or the sound volume
is turned off or turned down to minimum.
Dark picture
The brightness and contrast have been
adjusted incorrectly; or the environment
temperature is too low.
No color
The colour settings are incorrectly adjusted.
The COLOR-SYS is set to NTSC instead of
PAL.
Upside down or
horizontal
inverted picture
Improperly adjusted Horizontal or Vertical
setting using the remote control.
