B) Insert top of rack into the collar.

C) Insert bolt through the top of the collar and tighten with an Allen Key.

2.  Insert rack tube into receiver foot and install top and bottom 1/2” pin and clip (diagram 2).

NOTE: DO NOT drop support tube or let it fall freely. Make sure that hands and fingers are
clear of hinging area during operation.

positioned all the way down in the slot. Replace upper 1/2” security pin and clip. NEVER use
the rack  without security pin and clip in place.

IMPORTANT NOTES

•

Alternate direction of handlebars when carrying 2 bikes. (See Diagram 3).

•

To prevent the front wheels and handlebars from moving about during transport, we
recommend a nylon strap or standard bungee cord, routed through the wheel spokes and
around the downtube of the bike frame.

•

To lock bikes onto your rack, use a standard padlock through the holes in the top plates. We
also recommend running a cable from the padlock through both wheels and back. This is
to ensure quick release wheels can’t be removed. Your rack may also be locked to the tow
hitch with a padlock and cable or locking pin*** if desired.

* Minimum ground clearance to base of rack is 14 inches.

** See your retailer for a Rack Adaptor that will allow sloping tube bicycles to sit level on
your rack.

*** Ask your retailer about locking hitch pins.

•

This bicycle rack has been designed to carry 1 or 2 bikes.

•

This rack is designed for typical use and applications (on paved or smooth gravel roads).
Do not use this rack on a vehicle that will be driven on rough roads or where the rack (and
bikes) will be subjected to significant or constant jarring and/or shock, or any vehicle with
very stiff springs that will transfer the load shocks directly to the rack and the bikes.

•

Proper fitting and installation of this carrier to your specific vehicle is critical, and is the
owner’s sole responsibility.

•

Improper use of this product may result in damage to your rack, your vehicle, your bicycles,
or even other vehicles driving behind you (as a result of colliding with or trying to avoid
fallen bicycles and/or the rack).
