• To connect a subwoofer to the MSS, plug the signal cable supplied with the subwoofer
into SUB.OUT on the rear panel of the active speaker (see Fig. 2).

Plug the power cable into a mains outlet. Set master volume level to the minimum by turning
VOLUME control knob

counterclockwise until it stops.

Switch on power supply by turning POWER knob

on the active speaker side panel clockwise
until it clicks.

Turn on your audio source.

Adjust volume level by turning VOLUME control knob

. By turning the knob clockwise, you
increase volume level; by turning the knob counterclockwise, you reduce it.

Adjust treble and bass levels by turning TREBLE control knob

and BASS control knob

respectively. By turning the knob clockwise, you increase treble/bass level; by turning the knob
counterclockwise, you reduce it.
Notes:
• After using the MSS, mind to switch off power on the active speaker side panel by turning
POWER knob

counterclockwise until it clicks, and unplug the power cable.
• To enhance sound quality, use Line-Out output of the sound card.
If none of the above methods can solve the problem, please seek professional advice at your
nearest service center. Never attempt to repair the product yourself.
Problem
The MSS does not
turn on.

Cause
MSS is not connected to the mains outlet.

Large amplitude of the input signal.
Solution
Check the connection.
Turn on the switch.
Adjust volume control knob.
Connect audio sources correctly.
Adjust volume control knob.
Turn down the source volume
and MSS volume.
