4. INSTALLATION
4.1. Installation for Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP
Before installing the Office Keyboard driver, check to see if there are any other keyboard drivers already installed on your system. All
other keyboard drivers must be uninstalled BEFORE installing the Office Keyboard drivers.
Insert the Driver CD into your CD-ROM drive and run Setup.exe. The first screen is an introduction. Read it before proceeding to the next
step. The software will automatically begin to install to your hard disk. After installation, you will be prompted to restart your computer in
order to enable the Keyboard software.
Click (Finish) and restart your computer. The Keyboard Icon will be activated automatically after Windows restarts.
* Insert the Driver CD into your CD-ROM drive and the CD will Auto Run. If it does not, please choose (Run) from the Start Menu. The
file name on the CD is ”AUTORUN”. The first screen is an introduction. Read it before proceeding to the next step. The software will auto-
matically begin to install to your hard disk in a sub-directory titled C:\PROGRAM FILES\NETROPA\. After installation, you will be prompt-
ed to restart your computer in order to enable the Office Keyboard software.
* There are two different choices for installing the drivers:
Minimum installation for Win ME, WIN 2000, Win XP
This driver selection supports Scroll Pad Up, Down, Left, and Right key functions, Office Application key functions and five short cut keys.
It also shares minimum Windows OS resources and hard disk space. The standard Hot Key functions (CD keys and Internet keys) are
always enabled without any driver.
Typical installation supports all versions of Windows
This driver selection supports Scroll Pad Up, Down, Left, and Right key functions, Office application key functions, 12 short cut keys, stan-
dard Hot key buttons (CD keys and Internet keys) and the OnScreen display function.
This driver selection shares some Windows OS resources and hard disk space.
* Click (Finish) and restart your computer. The Office Keyboard Icon will be activated automatically after Windows restarts.
After installing the Office Keyboard drivers, you must restart your computer, or the Office Keyboard software will not be enabled.
4.2. Un-installation
To remove the Office Keyboard drivers from your system, simply go to Setting —> Control panel —> Add/remove programs and
remove «Office Keyboard» application software.
