KEYBOARD VOICES
USER DEFINED QUICK SELECTION BUTTON
- You can assign a
favorite voice to a quick select button in the follow manner.
1.
Select the desired voice by using the numeric pad or the +/YES,
–/NO buttons. Please refer to selecting one of the 138 voices.
2.
Press, and hold, one of the USER buttons, USER 1, USER 2, or
USER 3. The currently selected voice will be assigned to this
button to be available for quick selection. This information is
nonvolatile and will be saved when the power is turned off.
DUAL (LAYER) VOICE
- Dual, or layer, refers to an additional voice that
is tone mixed with the selected keyboard voice. The assigned
dual voice will be heard with the main voice when the layer fea-
ture is engaged.
1.
Press the DUAL button, the indicator will light up and the currently
assigned dual voice will show on the display.
2.
Use the +/YES, –/NO buttons or the numeric pad to select the
desired voice while the dual voice is displayed. The display will
show the dual voice number and name, then after five seconds
the display will revert to the selected main voice.
3.
Press the DUAL button again to turn the feature off.
SPLIT (LOWER) VOICE
- In the split ,or lower mode the keyboard is
divided into two sections. The keyboard is split into two sections
at the split point. The default split point is the G2 key for voice. In
the right hand section the selected main voice, or dual voice will
sound. In the left hand section a different voice can be assigned
to sound when the keys are played.

Press the SPLIT button, the currently assigned split voice will
show on the display, and the indicator will light up.
2.
Use the +/YES, –/NO buttons or the numeric pad to select the
desired voice while the split voice is displayed. The display will
show the split voice number and name, then after five seconds
the display will revert to the main voice.
3.
Press the SPLIT button again to turn the feature off.
