Users who have purchased the SNB-48CVS Users’ Set or who have replaced the harmonica must first of all remove the cover from
your harmonica* and then trim the valve adhesive.

• The comb and read plates are not sold individually.
• The harmonica included in the SNB-48 (Full Set) is the same as the SCX-48.

Failure to observe this may result in malformation or damage. The silencing effect may also not function properly.
Trimming the Valve Adhesive
Valve adhesive is applied to enhance the seal of the cover, but if the amount of adhesive
that has been squeezed out is excessive, follow the instructions below to trim it and then
replace the cover.
Check all of the values, and then use a box cutter or similar implement to trim the
adhesive that extends to the left-hand side when viewed from side

of the blow hole,
and that extends more than 2mm between the edge and side

of the blow hole. Repeat
this process on the lower plate.

Make sure care is taken when performing this procedure.
Make sure care is taken to avoid injury on the box cutter, etc., when performing this procedure. Also,
perform the procedure while taking care not to bend the valves. This procedure has already been
carried out on harmonicas supplied with the SNB-48.
