coupling must be connected to the compressor
tank to give a seal and prevent air loss when
disconnected. Never connect a female discon-
nect coupling to the tool as this provides a seal
that prevents the loss of compressed air in the
air tank, if it is connected to the tool it can seal
an air charge in it and lead to an actuation not
intentional. Do not mount a pivot connector on
the air supply line.
Different work pieces will require different op-
erating pressures, the stronger the wood the
more pressure is required. Remember, always
use the minimum pressure required for the
work in process, this is to prevent high noise lev-
els, increase the wear that will result in failures.
WARNING: Keep your hands and body away
from the tool’s discharge area when connect-
ing the air flow and always disconnect the tool
when servicing, making adjustments, perform-
ing cleaning tasks and when the tool is not in
use.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
LOAD STAPLES
Press the lock mechanism and open the charger
unit.
Position the staples in the magazine unit.
Close the charger unit.
FOR TOOLS WITHOUT CONTACT INSURANCE
Action of singular action:
An actuation system in which the trigger has to
be pressed for each stapling operation.
Singular action with simple security:
A security insurance is adapted to the trigger al-
lowing the user to block it when it is not using
the tool.
FOR TOOLS WITH INSTALLED CONTACT IN-
SURANCE
Double security action / contact insurance:
It is necessary to activate the contact insurance
mechanism as well as the triggering device in
order to trigger the staple. By keeping the trig-
ger activated and activating the contact lock a
staple is fired, this allows high firing rates, it is
also known as hit shot.
SINGULAR SEQUENCE TRIP
Staples can only be fired by activating the con-
tact lock (when holding the tool on the contact
surface) and then by pressing the trigger, hence,
any subsequent stapling operation can only be
executed when the trigger returns to its posi-
tion original.
The stumbling block tool allows the exact loca-
tion of the staple without the possibility of sta-
pling a second staple due to a delay.
CHANGING THE TRIGGER
To change the trigger, simply remove the trigger
bolt, remove the trigger and place the trigger,
replace the trigger bolt to hold it in place.
OPERATION
Protective equipment: Before using any tool
make sure that you and those in your work area
are using the necessary work equipment.
Shot of a staple: To trigger a clamp hold the
nose of the tool against the workpiece, if the
tool has contact lock it will be necessary to press
the tool forward to deactivate the lock, then
press the trigger to release the clip.
Evicted air: Every time a staple is fired, an air-
flow is dislodged from the top front of the tool,
keep your face free of this, some tools have an
evacuation of 360, which allows you to control
the direction of the evicted gases.
Depth control: check that the staple is inserted
into the work piece according to the require-
ments, the depth can be controlled by adjust-
ing the air pressure or by using a depth control
device if available.
Always use the minimum allowable air pressure
due to the following reasons:
• Energy saving.
• Less noise generated.
• Reduction in tool wear.
When any defect or improper functioning of
the tool arises, it must be disconnected from the
compressed air source and passed to a specialist
for inspection.
SAFETY MEASURES
• Always assume that the tool contains staples.
• Remove your finger from the trigger when
you are not nailing staples. Never load the tool
with your finger on the trigger, the tool will fire
a staple if the safety is released.
• Keep the tool pointed in a safe direction all
the time, never point to yourself or anyone else,
contain staples or not.
• Never attempt to staple a staple if the material
is too hard, at a steep angle or near the edges
of the workpiece, the staple may rebound and
