Sprinkler Outlet:

Screw the Sprinkler-head Outlet to the body of the Controller.

Spray Spread Adjustment:

Adjust anticlockwise for a long-throw fine stream.

Up/Down Distance Adjustment:

Rotate dial clockwise for maximum distance.

Left/Right Angular Adjustment:

Adjust the two rings and check the left and right stop

angles by rotating the Sprinkler by hand in each direction, noting where it clicks and

stops. Adjust to no more than the Sensors 110-degree viewing angle. Adjust to suit

the circumstances; For example, if the animal always enters at a specific point, you

could just direct the Sprinkler there.

Motion Sensor:

This is behind the sensor window. It detects body heat from the

animal or bird as it moves across the viewing area (not cold-blooded animals).

Low Battery:

Behind the window is a Red LED to indicate when to replace batteries.

Battery Compartment:

Slide the battery door down to open. An extra sealed cover

protects the batteries. Pull it free. Insert two

ALKALINE

 AA 1.5 Volt batteries before

use. Do not substitute other types of battery. Remove batteries for storage.

In-Line Water Filter:

The filter is a wire mesh to stop dirt and stones from entering

and damaging the Sprinkler valve. Please check the filter regularly and remove any

debris. Failure to do so could cause damage.

TIP:

Before connecting the hose to the

Sprinkler, run water through the hose to clear any debris carried in by ants, etc.

Hose Inlet:

Attach a 12mm hose here and connect to your tap.

Always fully open the

tap

so the Sprinkler gets the correct water flow. If your water pressure is low and the

spray is weak, try using a shorter hose or larger diameter hose.

Daisy Chain:

To install several ScareCrow Sprinklers, you can economise on hoses

using this Daisy-Chain feature. Attach another hose to connect any number of

Sprinklers in the chain. (Extra hose connector not included).

NOTE:

 Each Sprinkler

activates independently and responds to the motion in its viewing field.

Metal Ground Peg:

 Push the entire length into

firm

soil.

Night Mode Sensor:

The Sensor responds to light and dark. Remove the

Sensor Cap

so the Sprinkler only activates at night. Attach the Cap for 24-hour operation.

Sensitivity Adjustment:

Setting 0 is OFF. Setting 9 is maximum sensitivity

(recommended for Night-Mode usage). For 24-hour use, adjust between 1 and 9

according to your circumstances.
