A. Converter to 100BASE-FX Device Connection

Step 1.
Connect one (ST- or SC-type) end or a fiber cable to
either ST or SC connector on the converter and the end
of the fiber cable to the ST or SC connector on the other
converter or 100BASE-FX )device.

B. Converter to 100BASE-TX Device Connection

Step 1.
The maximum length for straight through twisted pair
cable (Category 5) between 100BASE-TX device (Hub
or Switch) and the converter is 100 meters.

Step 2.
Connect one end of twisted pair cable to the RJ-45 jack
on the converter and the other end of twisted pair cable
to the RJ-45 jack on the 100BASE-TX device.

Specifications

Full-Duplex Mode

This converter works as full-duplex mode only if those
connected switches are configurable and manageable as
fixed speed of 100Mbps and full-duplex mode.
Therefore, if you want to operate this converter as full-
duplex mode, you need to connect to the switches config-
ured at full-duplex mode.

If the Full/Half LED of the connected switch does not

   indicate as full-duplex mode, that means it is working
   at half-duplex mode now.
