5-10 Onboard Indicators
JLAN1/JLAN2 LEDs
The Ethernet ports (located beside the
VGA port) have two LEDs. On each
Gigabit LAN port, the yellow (right)
LED indicates activity while the left
LED may be green, orange or off to
indicate the speed of the connection.
See the table on the right for the func-
tions associated with the left (activity
speed) LED.
3rd Power Supply Fail Detect
Enable/Disable
The system can notify you in the event
of a power supply failure. This feature
assumes that three power supply units
are installed in the chassis with one act-
ing as a backup. If you only have one
or two power supply units installed, you
should disable this (the default setting)
with JP13 to prevent false alarms. See
the table on right for pin defi nitions.
