Troubleshooting
The screen will not move:
Check
Solution
Is the power cord connected?
Plug into screen and wall socket.
Is screen at top position?
Screen cannot move beyond top
position. Move down.
Is screen at absolute bottom
position?
Screen is limited to drop 1,5 m [5 feet]
from top of screen to roller and cannot
move beyond this. Move up.
If RS-232 is used:
Contact installer.
A number of failures (i.e. screen
overload) will automatically disable
the controller.
1) Disconnect and re-connect power.
2) Follow section D of this manual.
Are IR remote batteries installed?
Install batteries.
Is there visible contact to infrared
sensor?
Re-position sensor or move any
obstructions.
Still not working?
Remove and re-install batteries.
Still not working?
Contact dealer.
The screen stops in the wrong position:
Check
Solution
If RS-232 is used:
Contact installer.
Lower screen to bottom set position.
Go to Flex P1, press [DOWN]
If bottom position is incorrect a new
bottom set is required.
Go to Flex P2, press [
▲
] or [
▼
] until
screen is in correct position. Press
[Save] to store current position as
bottom set.
Lift screen to top position.
Go to Flex P1, press [UP]
If top point is incorrect, re-calibration
is required.
Disconnect and re-connect power in
order for screen to auto-calibrate.
Disconnect and reconnect power.
The screen re-calibrates and retracts.
See section D on powering up.
